My skin is so dry, it’s embarrassing. I go to have my legs waxed, and the Italian beautician practically has a nervous breakdown over the state of my legs – and my feet!
When we see models come down the runway, by design the first thing we notice is what they are wearing. The designers want the clothes to take center stage. That’s why they pick tall, thin and mostly very young models who act as human “hangers.” They don’t get in the way of the design.
The foods that enter our body are very important for our outward appearance. How so? Celebrity makeup artist Ariane Poole is passionate about nutrition and skincare. Today she has joined us in a discussion about the foods we need to deviate from, and some other topics. Enjoy the show!
The capri pants have garnered a lot of controversy in the last couple of years! Many articles will tell you not to wear them and that they make you appear frumpy.
Yet I’m sure many of you reading this have a pair or two in your closet. Because at this time of our life, most of us aren’t wearing shorts anymore!

Have you noticed how many ads on television promote the use of products for bladder control problems? And do you realize that nearly all of these ads are directed at women, even though many men experience bladder leakage, too?
I’ve long been an active dreamer. My dreams are lengthy, plot-driven and very detailed. I nearly always remember them when I wake up.
As a young woman I suffered regularly from excruciating migraine headaches. They were the crawl into bed, close the door, lower the blinds, pull the covers over my head and curl up in the fetal position type of headaches.
Senior Dating | Read About Mature Dating, Sexuality, Online Dating and More!
Like so many things in life, dating is a numbers game. But, as we get a little older it sometimes feels like the odds are tipped against us! There is good news though. In the last few years, companies have started to realize that there is a huge opportunity to help people over 50 to find partners and have opened senior dating sites just for us.
Many older single women spend a lot of time looking for an attractive, kind, older, single man. While it’s true that some of us find the man of our dreams after 60, the majority of women that I have spoken to are deeply skeptical of this approach.
Women in their 60s have enjoyed wonderful relationships and experienced their share of disappointments too. Some of us got married right out of high-school. Others waited until their 20s or 30s to tie the knot. Still others of us decided to stay single and chart our own course.
Regardless of the paths that we took, most of us quickly came to understand men. We may not have always liked what we saw, but, unlike men, who constantly ask “what do women want,” we knew what to expect from the opposite sex.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Morocco and I’m still happily discovering all its hidden surprises. For the first-time traveller, there are endless discoveries in a culture rich with history and African, Middle Eastern and European influences.
Have you shied away from staying in hostels because you thought you were just not the right age?
Since 2013 we have been on the road continuously travelling and have stayed at many hostels in the last three years. I was hesitant at first; I thought there may be an age gap.
How wrong I was.
I always travel like a millionaire – as in getting to and from a place – but I don’t always “vacation” like a millionaire. I’m perfectly fine with staying in a barebones eco-bungalow on the beach, or taking a rough and tumble road trip through the countryside and finding a B&B for the night. Because I live with a millionaire mentality, I always have a grand time.
I was the first person in my family to attend college. Like many boomer women, I did not follow a traditional path. I chose to not marry right out of high school and, instead, decided to travel and pursue a university degree.

While marketing a product I created – the My Affairs In Order flash drive, a convenient way to organize and retain personal and financial information for your loved ones before death – I get asked a lot of questions. Life After 60 | Read About Grandchildren, Marriage, Divorce and More!
When I was a little girl, I was so skinny that, if I turned sideways, I would disappear. In fact, I recently found a picture of myself as a teenager and couldn’t help taking a few moments to celebrate the one time in my life that I didn’t have to think about my weight.

Having been in a bad marriage for more than 30 years, I thought I was the biggest loser on the planet. I felt I was certainly not attractive and unappealing. I was overweight. I was not good at making money, but I was good at spending them. I wasn’t sexy at all and had zero sex appeal.
Have you ever asked anyone how their day is going and you get a two-hour answer? Not only that, but their answer leaves you feeling depleted and depressed?
