No matter how old we are, we have the right to feel useful, vibrant and alive. This basic assumption drove the work of Dr. Bill Thomas, who set out to build a better nursing home. His approach, later called the “Eden Alternative” went on to be adopted by nursing facilities across the world who wanted to create “More autonomous and creative living spaces.” Join us as we discuss this story, plus some strange happenings at the Olympics, a political crisis in Brazil, the recent floods in India and much more!
