Barbara Nathan holds a Master’s degree in psychology from the University of Connecticut, with a strong clinical and child psychology background. She has more than eight years experience in casework and counseling preventive services for at risk families and has also performed play therapy with young children. Her extensive writing in the field includes numerous articles and blogs for online publications. Coming from an extended large family herself, she loves playing an active role in the youngest kids’ development. Ms. Nathan also enjoys her frequent volunteer work at Senior Centers and with community programs for the elderly.
