Forgiveness, Truth and Chocolate

Well, it’s almost the weekend… finally! And, today, we have no fewer than 3 holidays to celebrate. It’s Global Forgiveness Day, International Tell the Truth Day and, my favorite, International Chocolate Day!

Of course, there is a lot going on in the world today, some of which is quite tragic. In today’s episode of Mornings with Sixty and Me, we will discuss the horrible shootings that just happened in Dallas, Texas.

We will also spend a few minutes on politics. As you probably know, the State Department has just reopened its investigation of Hillary Clinton related to her use of a private email server. In the UK, it is now clear that the next Prime Minister will be a woman. In Australia, no-one knows which party will prevail in the election.

In sports, France beat Germany in the Euro 2016 semi-finals. This means that France and Portugal will play in the finals. I’ve also been watching Wimbledon closely.

Finally, I’d like to tell you a bit about Grantmakers in the Arts. This program has many benefits, especially for older adults.

What is your favorite kind of chocolate? So you like dark chocolate? Milk chocolate? Or, are you, perhaps, like me addicted to salted caramels? Do you have any comments about today’s news stories? Please join the conversation below.
