Do you love hats? So do I! I’m not sure why, but, the older I get, the more I love looking for interesting hats and other accessories. Talking with the other women in the Sixty and Me community, it sounds like I’m not alone!
When I travel by train, I often gaze at people and pretend to be Sherlock Holmes. One of the trends that I have noticed recently is tattoos for older women. It seems like many women my age are breaking aging stereotypes and adding some ink to their beautiful older bodies. Personally, I’ve never had the urge to get a tattoo, but, I totally understand where they are coming from!
One of the best things about getting older is that you no longer need to worry about what people think. This is especially true when it comes to style and fashion for women over 60. So, to help demystify the shoe buying process, I turned to fashion expert Melanie Payge.
When I visited Milan to interview fashion expert, Melanie Payge, I had the opportunity to spend some time in the amazing showroom and tailor, Atelier Sangalli. What an amazing experience! I came away thinking that, in a world filled with mass-produced clothing and cookie-cutter styles, it’s a shame that more women don’t take advantage of the services of these highly skilled professionals.
