Looking Back with a Smile – What Was the Happiest Moment in Your Life?
What was the happiest moment of your life? It’s a harder question that it appears on the surface. Happiness is an abstract concept and one that is difficult to measure. Its source is also a mystery.
Sometimes we can only see happiness in the rear-view mirror as a reflection of the times in our life when we felt truly alive, fulfilled and well – happy!
We often assume that big events – like winning the lottery or getting a promotion at work – will make us happy. But, is this really the case? Most scientists would say that the answer is no.
One thing is for certain. When we look back on our lives, we usually have a clear impression of when we were happiest, even if we don’t know how to be happier now. Our happiest times are usually associated with intense positive emotions and achievement.
