I don’t know about you, but, as a younger woman, standing up for causes that I believed in came naturally to me. But, as I got a little older, like many women, I found myself caring more about the potential consequences of my words for myself and my family. In other words, I learned to keep my opinions to myself. Now, as I approach my 70s, I finally have the strength to raise my voice again. So, today, I would like to talk about the importance of women our age staying engaged, politically and socially. Regardless of whether we agree with each other, let’s celebrate our right to share our opinions. Let’s find our voices again! Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat. And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me!
