Good Morning! Here is Today's News

Today’s milestones take us to completely different ends of the emotional spectrum. On the one hand, today is the day that we remember the victims of the 9/11 attacks. Our hearts go out to everyone who was impacted, directly or indirectly, by the horrible events of that day. On the other hand, today is officially Grandparents Day.

These events could not be more different. At the same time, they both remind us of the preciousness of human life. Yes, some people are capable of horrible, hateful and destructive actions. But, most of us just want to see our children, grandchildren, friends and neighbors thrive. So, today, let’s remember the past respectfully and look to the future hopefully.

Join us as we discuss these stories plus the latest from Syria, the beginning of Ovarian Cancer Awareness Month, a special cat who survived the earthquake in Italy, 13 cool grandparents and much more! Come join us for a cup of tea and a chat! And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend – or two, or three – about us today. Your support means so much to me!

Do you think that our hardships make us stronger, more fearless and wise? Why or why not? In addition to today’s question, let’s all take a few seconds to remember the victims of 9/11.
