On the whole, society doesn’t do a great job of preparing us for the big transitions in our life. Becoming a teenager is chaotic and confusing. Having your first child is equally complex. And, don’t even get me started on the transition to retirement! In fact, it’s the last of these life-stages that I’d like to focus on today.
