The Queen of Colorful Fashion
Queen Elizabeth II may be 92-years-old but you would never know it from her impeccable sense of style!
The Queen has made several recent public appearances showing off a variety of fun and colorful fashion choices that rival the trendy styles worn by many of her younger royal family members.
Smiles and Stunning Styles
The Queen recently attended the opening of the new Schroders Bank headquarters in London wearing a smile that shone as brightly as the trendy turquoise outfit that she donned.
To fulfill her duty of unveiling a special plaque at the multinational asset management company that was founded back in 1804, the Queen wore a long, bright turquoise coat with black fur trim. With matching black gloves, a turquoise top-hat with a black flower, black shoes, and a black handbag, the Queen created a seriously sharp and stylish look.
To show-off the Queen’s stunning style, the Royal Family shared photos from the event on their Instagram page, garnering a flurry of compliments from adoring fans, such as:
“She is just such a sweet lady… I love how she genuinely smiles and shows she cares about these things. So much respect for this lady,” commented one fan.
Another complimented the Queen, saying, “What a beauty! Her smile is positively radiant!”
“She looks fantastic! God bless the Queen”, said another.

Today The Queen was in the City of London to open the new Headquarters of Schroders Bank. The multinational asset management company was founded 214 years ago. The Queen met Schroders’ young apprentices, who join straight from school and are often offered permanent roles, former members of the @BritishArmy, who are part of the military placement scheme, and group that champion diversity in the work place. The Queen then unveiled a plaque to mark the official opening of the new headquarters. The backdrop from the official opening included a 20,000 poppy installation to commemorate #Armistice100. Schroders worked with @RoyalBritishLegion and a local florist to create the art installation.
At another public outing to the Ascot Racecourse for the QIPCO British Champions Day, the Queen favored blue-toned clothing once again, this time sporting a pale blue, long, double-breasted coat, a matching hat with a feathered flower, and black gloves, bag, and shoes.
She looked every bit the royalty that she is as she socialized and presented awards at the racecourse.
A week prior to her blue fashion phase, the Queen welcomed ambassadors from around the world to Buckingham Palace looking pretty in pink with a bright shift-style dress.
The Queen created a look that was both stylish and ambassadorial for the diplomatic event as she paired simple pearls, coiffed hair, black pumps, and a black bag with her cheerful pink dress.
Always the picture of royal perfection, Queen Elizabeth II continues to remind us that showing off chic fashion never goes out of style – and we can’t wait to see what she shows up wearing next!
