Good Morning! Here is Today's News

Perhaps more than any other group, our generation was bombarded with the message that “fat is bad.” Of course, we now know that this is only partially true. Some fats are indeed very bad for you, but, others are completely necessary for healthy living. Today, I’d like to share a story about how the sugar industry fought to downplay the link between sugar and heart disease, while demonizing fat. It’s a fascinating example of how healthy eating recommendations are impacted by business and politics. Join us as we discuss this story plus Typhoon Meranti, Clinton’s return to the campaign trail, a story about the importance of talking about death (it’s not as depressing as it sounds), some stats on poverty and wealth and much more. Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat! And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me!

Do you think that it’s a good idea to plan for your death, even if you plan on living a lot longer? Why or why not? In addition to answering today’s question, please try to respond to one other person’s comment today.
