Margaret’s Message for the Day
Every time that I hear that someone that I know has passed away, I am immediately reminded of my own mortality. Are you the same?
This week, the world lost pro-aging revolution warrior, Cindy Joseph. She was beautiful inside and out and the world is just a little bit darker without her.
At the same time, I know that people like Cindy wouldn’t want us to dwell on how they died. They would want us to be reminded of how they lived. They would want us to use their lives as inspiration to fuel our own dreams.
I know that I have fewer years ahead of me than behind… and this is one of the reasons that I work so hard. I want to make a difference. I want to make the world a better place. And, I want to help others to get more from life.
Today, let’s remember that we will not live forever – at least not on this planet. Life is precious. Let’s use ever second that we have. Let’s explore, learn, grow and give back!
Quote for the Day
“Accepting death doesn’t mean you won’t be devastated when someone you love dies. It means you will be able to focus on your grief, unburdened by bigger existential questions like, ‘Why do people die?’ and ‘Why is this happening to me?’ Death isn’t happening to you. Death is happening to us all.” – Caitlin Doughty
Community Question for the Day
