Let me explain…
When we set out to build Boomerly in 2015, we wanted to create a safe, welcoming place where older adults could go to make friends.
In the months since the launch, thousands of men and women over 50 joined the service and their feedback was incredible.
Unfortunately, while Boomerly was successful in connecting people all over the world, it didn’t generate enough traction to make it a viable platform in the long term.
As a result, with heavy hearts, we had to make the difficult decision to close down the service on January 20, 2016.
What hasn’t changed is our commitment to improving the lives of people over 50. We will continue to look for ways to help older adults to make friends, get financially secure and find happiness here, on our site Sixty and Me.
