Fashion at Home: Using Color to Uplift Your Spirit in the Lockdown

We think of fashion over 60, or, fashion at any age for that matter, as being primarily a tool for getting the attention of others. But, in my opinion, our fashion choices are really a reflection of how we feel about ourselves.

And, since we are all spending more time at home these days, I thought that it would be fun to record a video about how to use fashion to make yourself feel better about yourself. This is especially important during the current lockdown, but, it has implications for the rest of the year as well.

Let’s age beautifully, inside and out! Check out our own “Aging Beautifully” affirmation cards. They will inspire you to live your life to the fullest and enable you to find joy and passion in the decades ahead.

Are you still conscious about the clothes that you wear these days, even if no-one outside of your house sees them? What colors make you calmer or happier?

Retail therapy is real!
Awareness of your colors is real! Back in the day,,,, most knew their good colors. Sometimes I think combos can get around that a bit.

Comfort key point for me. I miss my thinner waist, but even then attire around my waist very uncomfortable. Only time I could deal with it was pregnant, ha! Very done with that at 74, lol Iol lol lol. Hippie dressing was good. Oversized attire good, have to be a little careful of fit and of type of material. Love fly away little summer dresses…shorter or long. That’s a challenge too as I’m rather short!

I have been really drawn to Mossy green lately. I already have two knit tops and am constantly being pulled in the direction of anything that color. I have a yellowish toned skin so maybe it makes me look good.
