Born in Puglia in Southern Italy, Laura Panico’s lifelong passion for the tiny Aeolian Islands, off the coast of Sicily, goes back to her childhood and the summers she spent there. Returning to the islands for a prolonged period in her 40s, she was so captivated by the simpler way of life and the extraordinary natural beauty that she decided to share her experiences with others. Laura now runs Aeolian Adventures, organising specialist culinary and art tours to Sicily and the Aeolian Islands.
