I think about the environment before I do things. Is it something I will use again and again? Definitely not one for trends – a total waste of resources. I tend to be my own trend setter. I am artistic.
One thing you didn’t mention is the need for much shorter tops with the wide legged trousers. I’m finding almost none of the tops in my wardrobe that look fine with leggings look appropriate with wider legged pants. The balance is off. Might be the subject for another article.
I bought 2 pairs of wide leg ponte knit trousers in Switzerland last November, one plain black and one dark navy pinstripe. They are great as they can be dressed up or down and are nice with ankle boots or loafers. I’m not a skinny lady, 5ft 1in and a UK size 14-16 but i find these trousers flattering.
