Want to Know How to Reinvent Yourself After 50? Ask Cindy Joseph!

By Margaret Manning February 06, 2015 Mindset

Cindy Joseph is a master of reinvention. mature model, entrepreneur and “positive-aging” activist, Cindy is a shining example of what is possible as an older adult.

Over the last few years, I have had the opportunity to interview Cindy several times and every time my respect for her has deepened.

What impresses me most about Cindy is that she doesn’t let other people’s expectations hold her back. In her 40s, she was “discovered” as a model and became one of the first “older” models to represent major brands. Then, in her 50s, she started her own cosmetics company, demonstrating that creating a successful company is possible at any age.

After you watch this interview with Cindy, I hope that you will take the time to think about your own goals. Ask yourself what you would do with your life if you knew that you couldn’t fail. Would you start your own company? Would you dedicate your time to learning? Or, would you, perhaps, make it your mission to climb the 10 tallest mountains in the world?

I’d love to get your feedback on this.

What do you think of Cindy’s journey? Does it inspire you to follow your own passions? Why or why not?
