Daisies, Roses or Tulips? What Does Your Favorite Flower Say About You?

By Margaret Manning October 20, 2015 Lifestyle

We often talk about our fashion and home décor choices and how they reflect our personality and style. I was thinking today about how our style is also reflected in less obvious choices that we make.

For example do you love flowers? Have you ever stopped to think about how your choice of a flower might reveal a lot about your personality?

Are you a sunflower person, with a big and bold personality? Or do you prefer lavender, with its sweet and seductive look and scent. Are you a traditional rose lover? Or do you love exotic orchids?

Personally, I love the seasons and enjoy living in a place where there is a sequence in nature that reveals the colours of the rainbow. The first snowdrops and crocuses, followed by brilliant gold daffodils fill my heart with positive emotions. Spring flowers signify the power of transition and the strength of nature in reinventing itself year and after year.

I also love traditional flowers, like roses, but simple daisies are my favourites. They are innocent and simple, vulnerable and yet strong – I guess those are words I like to associate with myself and my life.

How about you? Are you a flower person? If so, what is your favourite type and colour? What do you think your preferences say about your personality? Please join the conversation below.
