Making and Saving Money After 60

As you know, I’m on the road this week, so, rather than read the news, I have decided to focus Mornings with Sixty and Me on several larger themes that matter to all of us. I hope that you will continue to join us every morning. After all, we still have plenty to discuss! Since financial independence is important to each and every one of us, today, I would like to discuss some creative ways to make money after 60. I would also love to get your thoughts on working and saving in retirement. Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat. And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me! Read More

Becoming a Life-Long Learner, More Election Fallout and a Butterfly Scarf

After a tough day yesterday, America is starting to come to terms with the election. I stay “starting,” because, for many, the healing process will be long indeed. That said, America is a great country and I am confident that everything will be ok in the end. In addition to talking about the fallout from the election, I’d like to discuss the importance of becoming a life-long learner. Then, I will share a feel good story about a 10-year-old boy who built a small house for homeless people. I also have a beautiful little butterfly scarf to give away to one lucky person. So, stay tuned for that! Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat. And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me! Read More

America Elects Donald Trump and Begins the Healing Process

By now, you have probably heard that Donald Trump is the President-elect of the United States. So, now that the most emotional election in many decades is over, I would like to dedicate today’s episode of Mornings with Sixty and Me to beginning the healing process. On a personal level, I can only hope that our new president does his best to make America a fair and prosperous place for people of all races, religions and backgrounds. I also want to express how proud I am that, as sisters, we have treated each other with respect these last few months. Today, let’s remember what we have in common. We will get through this together. Everything is going to be ok. Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat. And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me! Read More

I don’t know about you, but, for me, turning 60 was a turning point. But, with 6 decades of experience, I finally see the world for what it is. Perhaps more importantly, I see the world for what I can make it. Do you feel the same? Join us as we discuss the significance of turning 60, trouble in South Korea, the final days before the U.S. election, a book recommendation: The Angel of Aldgate, from one of our members, the timetable for the Brexit, the latest from Syria and much more! Come join us for a cup of tea (or coffee) and a chat. And, if you enjoy the show, please tell one friend about us today. Your support means so much to me!
