Don’t Be a Statistic! My Senior Sisters, Let’s Stay Safe This Spring!

Through my work with Sixty and Me, I have come across some scary statistics. For example, did you know that one in four people over age 65 has a fall each year and that 800,000 of us are hospitalized for falls during this time period? We are also at a higher risk for illnesses from the flu to more serious conditions.

I don’t mention this to scare you. I just want to draw your attention to the fact that there is actually a lot that we can do to improve our health and safety. If today’s video saves just one person from an accident this year, it will have been well worth recording!
