Aging is certainly not glamorized in the media and there’s even some ageism ingrained in our pop culture, so don’t fret if you are indeed afraid. You’re not alone.
I’ve shared the story before about how, several years ago, I hosted a small group of women – all over 60 – at my home and was shocked to discover that many of them felt that, with age, they had become ‘invisible.’
Do you remember playing as a child? Without work or obligations, you were free to wander around, use your imagination and indulge in things just for the sake of doing them. Play was relaxing and fun and brought joy to your days.
